A Thousand Summers

When we gaze across a landscape, patchworked and dotted with the marks of human hands we are looking back in time, a thousand summers of life, love, birth and death.

Spring renewal and summer blooms making way for autumn's soft decay and the depths of winter. The earth holds each memory, cherished and laid down as an imprint in the strata.

As usual this is a many layered painting, encompassing handprinted and hand painted collaged pieces, acrylic paint, inks and dry media.
