Drifting Away

Drifting Away – I am so happy with this painting, I was inspired by the town where I live and it's bustling harbour and coastline with rockpools, fishing boats and their paraphenalia, and of course the ocean. 

It was an absolute joy to create. First I painted, drew, printed and played with lots of fresh collage papers then I painted with paints, paper, inks and other media and here we are! Many, many layers of mixed media and collage on a 1.5m x 1.2m deep canvas panel. Ready to hang
