Flying solo

Spring starts a little earlier in Cornwall than the rest of the country, in sheltered spots snowdrops raise their heads in early January and Camellias bloom from November onwards. In the bleak midwinter to see a Camellia in full bloom plus Bullfinches visiting the garden is truly joyful.
