Giraffe

I have a large collection of Observer Books, with a few duplicates. I've used some of these duplicates to start a little series of paintings which is proving very popular with collectors!
The battered book cover is a lovely surface to paint on, and takes the paint really well.
One of my favourite animals, the giraffe, looking regal and beautiful against the dark background. Painted in acrylic inks and paint.
I have mounted the whole book flat onto board and framed it in an A4  black box frame.
