Robin

I have a large collection of Observer Books, with a few duplicates. I've used some of these duplicates to start a little series of paintings which is proving very popular with collectors!
The battered book cover is a lovely surface to paint on, and takes the paint really well.
Winter, and Christmas, is fast approaching so a seasonal Robin seems appropriate, and they are such beautiful subjects to paint and study. Painted in acrylic inks and paint.
I have mounted the whole book flat onto board and framed it in an A4  black box frame.
