Zebra

I have a large collection of Observer Books, with a few duplicates. I've used some of these duplicates to start a little series of paintings which is proving very popular with collectors!
The battered book cover is a lovely surface to paint on, and takes the paint really well.
A zebra was the perfect animal subject for this book! I apologise for the framed photo, I normally take the photos without the glazing but forgot so you get a selfie of me ! 
I have mounted the book flat onto an 3mm A4 stained wooden panel and framed it in a black stained wooden box frame.
