Fields Of Joy

When I create a landscape featuring trees it always gets so much love. Out of curiosity I asked google "why does the UK love trees so much" and the answer was beautiful...

"because they ask nothing yet give everything and they root us to something much bigger than we could ever be"

I love this painting - it really is joy-filled! 

One of a series of 6 works on paper completed during the late summer, early autumn 2025.

Mixed media and collage on 42cm x 30cm (A3)  handmade 100% cotton heavy khadi paper. This beautiful paper has a rough deckle edge so the painting could either be float mounted (without a mount) or mounted and framed.
