Riding It Out

Riding It Out - This painting has been a labour of love, it has so many layers I've lost count, and it has had a few incarnations but I am very pleased with the way it has turned out. It is the larger of a trio of more abstracted seascapes I completed over the last month. Whilst a mainly abstracted study of a stormy coastline I have included a collaged depiction of a Common Tern. I have so much admiration for seabirds, especially when the weather is stormy and seas are rough.
