Tethered

One of a trio of small, bright joyful paintings inspired by the rhythm of coastal life. We are one of the many links in the chain of life, connected to everything. The chain motif is one that appears frequently in my work, it has many symbolic meanings, I choose to focus on interconnectivity, eternity, strength and endurance. Yet ultimately we are all free to choose our own path and destiny, we are completely untethered if we choose to be so.

Mixed media and collage on 20cm x 20cm cradled chunky wood panel framed in a gorgeous white stained wooden tray frame. Ready to hang
