Tidal Flat

Tidal Flats are flat areas of the intertidal zone that are generally muddy or marshy alternately covered by the sea at high tide and uncovered at low. My inspiration was the tidal flat bordering the west Looe River. It's a beautiful, quiet and very ancient part of the world which borders an area of Celtic rainforest.

I am creating a beautiful collection of smaller pieces, all multilayered mixed media little gems made with as much love as my larger paintings!
