You Make Me Happy

Back in 2020 I realised I wasn't happy as a realistic wildlife artist. I was good at it but I was restless and felt out of sorts. Then lockdown came, galleries shut and I decided to play. To play and go back to my textile roots. Colour, pattern and texture.

I will never feel stuck, or out of sorts again as I am now being true to myself, I am painting in a way that brings me joy and a hope it brings you joy too. I haven't painted floral or still lives for a while as the ocean and coast have had me captivated  but a late summer/early autumn burst of sun made me so happy I had to express this in a painting and here it is.
