The world is a strange, turbulent place and it's easy at the moment to get dragged down mentally. It's well documented but spending time outdoors in the company of Mother Nature and all her glory definitely helps lift the spirits. With three dogs I spend a large chunk of each day walking and with the South West Coast Path literally outside my front door I am spoilt for choice, with beautiful headlands and vistas not far away. These feed into my artworks and I try to capture the sensations of being outdoors, feeling the sea breeze and the sun's warmth.
I am thrilled to announce that you can see my artwork in July and August at the St Endellion Festival where myself and Peter Ursem are showing in a two handed exhibition titled 'Between Land, Sky and Sea'
